Yes, it has 2 weaknesses:

1) Microsoft's parity clause
2) "Alarmingly, one source has suggested that PlayStation 4 version of cross platform titles could be “castrated” so both versions of the game look identical. This would be done to “avoid ruffling any feathers” and “damage perceptions of a cross platform title, not to mention Xbox One.” <- If true, it doesn't matter whether the PS4 has more resources to work with. Games will be tailored to the lowest common denominator to avoid 'ruffling feathers'.

Have you been living under a rock?

No?  Show me where the PS4 version of a game is VASTLY better than the Xbox One version.  They're not.  Sure, they perform marginally better on the PS4, but largely the games are the same.  I also stated 'If true', since that particular article didn't have a named source.

Define VASTLY better. It's not like having a perfomance gap between a 1000 $ and a 500 $ hardware.

But what we have seen so far isn't identical. So at what point do you suggest will the "castration" start? Must be very soon, because the "resolution damage" has already taken its toll.
