Do you prefer games with a light story or with a deep story?

xenogears and xenosaga... do i have to say more? of course the gameplay can't be complete trash (for example remember me) but if i have to choose beween excellent story, medicore gameplay and medicore story, excellent gameplay i choose the first one.
