I don't think the price cut will be enough as Japan will obviously go to PS3 while the US difference is only showing as approx 5K. So no, I think WW PS3 will still squeak past 360.
Personally I think the PS3 would gain bigger boost than 360 from price cut but it seems Sony is content to wait and see at the moment rather than drive more sales via another price move.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
