Just making a point, some make too huge of a deal out of the XB1 specs. Though your correct I shouldn't have said its the best looking console game, it's one of the best. And while Killzone does look quite beautiful I was under the impression it was running at 1920x1080 at around 60 FPS in regards to multiplayer. So somewhat dissapointing to hear, for me atleast. |
The multi-player is still 1080p on your TV, it's just very odd about it (visually it appears as 1080p with an odd motion blur). To be honest i get the impression they just rushed the multi-player (which wouldn't be hugely surprising for a launch game, but still disappointing). While i can understand the advantages of the method they are using, the single player ran at native 1080p/30-40fps. The method used for the MP cuts back on the resources required by a hell of a lot, that extra power should be producing more than it is :/
I agree what you're saying about specs though. Give it a few years and the only place we will see the power difference in full will be in 1st party games. While it will certainly be a nice bonus for PS4 owners, 1st party games make up such a small minority of a console's library that it's not worth people screaming high and low over it.
