They left us on a cliffhanger, it needs to swim until there's nowhere else to go with the story. Also we need a new game to help us forget Ascension happened, the series can't finish with that.
Such a great character, interesting lore, beautiful sound & visuals and genre defining gameplay need to return. I think the genre would pretty much die off without God of War attracting the mainstream to it so we need a GoW4 and it needs to be as good & big as GoW3, if it can top it then damn, keep it swimming for as long as it can keep it up.
One more Ascension and then they can just let it sink.
