I know this is just your opinion but please, if you are going to make statements like that can you at least back it up.  How you find a way to blame MS for killing JRPGs, Platformers and adventure games I really would like to know?

No one pushed fps more than ms and xbox is affiliated with fps and shooters. ofc I like that microsoft has a nice sp lineup with sunset overdrive, quantum break, spark, etc... but I still blame the low sales of jrpgs and platformers on microsoft. Ever since xbox became popular japanese developers like capcom, square, konami, etc... tried catering to the xbox fanbase and failed miserably while f'ing over their original PS fanbase. Ever since this gen and microsoft having more leverage this gen games just haven't felt fun from multiplat devs. nothing really unique came out of many devs. While fps and wrpg's grew in fanbase the platformer, advernture, and story driven games have dwindled. I really hope with the new found marketshare sony can up their gaming investments and rejuvinate life into those genres which imo they excel at :D
