im not gona bet, but its still more likely that the kh team will still want to keep working on ps3. could change, but i think they will want to move up from ffvs13.

You do realize the KH team has little to no say where the game goes, right? It's all SE in general, and Disney (mostly Disney).

you do realize its directed by nomura, probably the most important person at se. if the team wants it on ps3, he will push for ps3, and se and disney will likely give it to him.

because se is the developer and have a decent record with the series so far (i hear it sells a few units), disney is likely to give the go ahead to anything se asks to develop in the ip. disney has no reason to push for any consoles, because that could cause a fallout.

You do realize that Disney has the ultimate say and that Nomura will have to go along with it whether he likes it or not or not be involved in the project at all, right? Disney will and has enacted their ability to make KH games without Nomura/SE's involvement. And Disney has every reason to push for a console, the entire purpose of KH is to bring Disney movies to Japan's mainstream. Not exactly going to happen on a console that's not really selling over there, is it?

I really don't understand that after SE got Crystal Tools/White Engine to work on Wii and even announced that the Wii was one of only three of their main platforms, people still seem to be tied to this notion that SE resents the console, that they have no intentions of putting any of their major franchises on it, and that their development teams would revolt if assigned to a Wii project even if it meant losing out on money nd even severing connections with the company that holds all the rights to Kingdom Hearts and its characters. It just doesn't make sense.

yes, the game no one cared about and no one bought. disney did a great job with that game. if nomura doesnt like it then he will not work on kh and that will greatly affect the series at least its reception.

i don't think the wii tools are 100% ready yet, but that doesn't really matter since kh3 at most is in very early production. the use of the wiiusing the same engine is that the tools are the same, not that it can run the same things. it makes it easier if devs have 1 set of tools to use for everything. they will still put the same games on the same consoles (less ps3 exclusives though, because of 360 and pc).

Why wouldn't Nomura like it? Is he in some way Sony exclusive? THen why is KH on the DS and The World Ends With You on the DS also (which is actually made by the KH team, unlike the 3 new KHs)? And guess what? There isn't a SINGLE KH team game on the PSP. Nomura is onyl directing one game on the PSP - KH: BBS. Since the KH team makes the main series of KH (read: makes, doesn't actually "own" it, which would mean it's owned by SE which it is not) and Nomura is basically the "head" of the KH team there is no way he would drop out. Nomura never said he would stay "Sony exclusive" and he will never say it. End discussion. No more to discuss.

And as for KH3 being in production (even early production) that is a NO. NO, NO, NO. Unless you mean it's in the planning stages (deciding where the game goes, and the basic idea for the game and stuff) then that's fine because that is most likely happening. They're not gonna wait forever. But if you mean actual production, SE (well, Nomura to be exact) said KH3 won't start actual development until Versus XIII is finished. Disney have already said they want a KH3, but it seems SE is kinda busy at the moment so they're holding it off for a little bit. I bet Disney has alreayd proposed and planned KH3 to go to the Wii since the Wii is what they're targeting with games (read: TARGETING, not staying exclusive to like some of you seem to think).

Also, like Claude said, Disney wanted KH partly for Japan to buy Disney movies. Is the PS3 doing well in Japan? Not really. That's why games like Fatal Frame and Monster Hunter have moved to the Wii because the Wii is selling well in Japan. Plus don't say Japan matters even though KH sells best in the West (which is not surprising because it has Disney which is popular in the West) because it sells well in Japan too. It sold 700k the first week in Japan on the PS2 and the Final Mix version of the KHs are...guess what...yep, Japan only, so Japan DOES matter, and like I said before, the Wii is doing well in Japan while the PS3 isn't.

Plus KH is targeted at kids and teens, which are foudn mostly on the Wii rather than the PS3, so the Wii fits the KH demographic. Why would they make KH3 on a console which is sellign worse than the Wii and is more expensive to make and doesn't fit the demographic when the Wii is holding up in ALL those areas?

That is all. And Nomura doesn't do a lot and definitely doesn't have that much power as a lot seem to think, sorry.

fanboyism at is finest.

Thanks for not reading and trolling. Your opinion means so much to me.

chiil soriku you are taking kh3 to serious who cares if it ends up on the wii or the ps3 by that time you will already own both consoles.
