( + The Order will be full HD quality so the resolution isnt a problem there, before talking about resolution, you should know why people ask for a better resolution, still, at the moment, only very few PS4 games are not 1080p , even if that isnt the only important thing of course) |
What you, and so many others, don't seem to get, is that the value of a console isn't just in the hardware. This isn't like buying a PC, or deciding between two Android phones, here. When you purchase a console, you're buying into a closed ecosystem - the hardware purchase price is like a sort of entrance fee that gives you the right to enjoy all the unique software that Playstation, Xbox, or Nintendo has to offer. If the software and features on one system don't interest you, then naturally you go somewhere else.
Actually, I'd equate choosing between an XBO and a PS4 to choosing between an iPhone and some high-end Android or Windows smartphone. Sure, the iPhone is more expensive, and probably weaker, but that really isn't the deciding factor. You're gonna buy the phone that has the apps, functionality, and ease of use that appeal most to you. Specs may drive you to upgrade an old device, but when the time comes to choose which device to upgrade to, specs, and even price, are only portion of the bigger picture.
