The Gamecube-Controller. It has a great layout, especially a,b,x and y. The only bad thing about it is, that it's not as durable as other controllers.

Couldn't disagree more.

I have had my Gamecube controller for eleven years now, and the only gameplay affecting damage it has gotten over the years is the L-trigger needing some extra push for the digital input to register, while its analogue input still works perfectly.

In comparison, I've found myself needing to replace my N64, Xbox and Xbox 360 controllers after less than two years of usage for different reasons.

Agreed. All 4 of my GC controllers still work and they went through a BATTERING when I owned them - drunken Smash Bros, Monkey Ball etc. They've gone to their 3rd owner now and they work just great.

I'm not sure what the actual statistics are, but I'd guess that the GC controller is just about as reliable as they come.
