The No-Duh stuff:
- A Zelda U trailer, preferably with a fair bit of gameplay, showing second screen functionality. Solid release date Q1 2015.
- A solid name for X, preferably with a story trailer we can start speculating about. Solid release date, Q4 2014. Preorder a collector's edition and you get a digital copy of Xenoblade Chronicles. (That really would sell me on a Wii U, BTW).
- Soft release date, Fire Emblem X SMT.
- Release Bayonetta 2 around the time of the event.
Other stuff they probably won't do, but I'd love to see:
- New F-Zero and/ or Star Fox.
- Majora's Mask remake for Wii U Confirmed
- Something from From Software. Tenchu, Souls, Armored Core. No need to be exclusive, either. Just have one.
- New ad campaign: In exchange for advertising the PS4 along side the Wii U, Nintendo will make Legend of Dragoon 2 via Monolith Soft. Again, it doesn't need to be exclusive (LoD kinda calls for motion controls) but Nintendo should get a clause that PS4 sales will still help them break-even. Key thing is NINTENDO NEEDS TO ADVERTISE THE WII U.
- New Mistwalker game.
- Better Virtual Console support.
- Give 3rd Party Devs their own opportunities with Nintendo Directs to plug their software. A free (or almost free) promotion to Nintendo's customers would attract a lot of attention because developers spend a lot on marketing. Guaranteeing them time in the spotlight would dramatically increase interest in developing for the Wii U. Heck, doing this for ports would probably get a half dozen titles right there, between the new market and the free promotion.
