Very odd conclusion:

I just saw this in the video, what the hell is that?

Well, if you pause this right when it pops out, you'll notice it looks exactly like the ps4 version. Which means the x1 version is actually using enhanced shadows up close compared to the ps4, at least judging by this small clip. Look at it, it's there for anyone who wants to see it.

Not to start an argument here but the Xbox one version isn't using "enhanced shadows up close it has simply not streamed in the full resolution of the light map textures in time, the harsh pop-in of lighter edges is the engine loading them in last minute to what they should be, a light map is essentially just a monochrome texture, and in the same way that the ps4 flag lacked detail until fully loaded, the Xbox ones light mapping lacked detail until fully loaded.

Also, I'm not buying that the ps4 version is using trilinear, there is no progressive banding, just entire surfaces in some shots seem overly blurry compared to distance textures in other shots, ENTIRE surfaces even if those surfaces extend from the distance in to the foreground, it doesn't take a background of being a developed to notice the stark difference between the two.

If you ask me the real problem is simply the use if UE3, both versions have problems with streaming data while the ps4 struggles the most, were the game something I actually wanted to play I'd be inclined to buy it and do an analysis of my own on the same frames with partial and full installs, but I really don't want to buy a crap game just to make a point.
