don't buy the notion that it was a rushed comparison. from ghost came out people found out pieces of the game were missing when they played it before the install was complete. it's common knowledge that that happens to ps4 games even to people like me that don't own the system. look at what it is DF does. They compare game visuals and now over two months after the ps4 released, the likeliness that they would analyze a ps4 game before it finished installing is very low. A random screen shot from someone else doesn't prove anything, the screenshot itself had no way to prove what platform it was even running on.
but this is actually what happened,they're human,,, watch a youtube walk through from the user theradbrad, he;s playing thief on the ps4 and he's having none of these texture problems(especially on the red flags with the black logos on the bottom that looked 70% washed out in some of these still shots). theres more shimmering/artifacts in the xone version. AND THE FACT theres texture pop-up and the missing some pom in the xone version and its not even mentioned is very unprofessional...theres not one thing better the xone does better in this game than the ps4,they got this badly wrong.... just accept/move on, game is still mediocre on all platforms
