you could say in a way but tats what happens to successfull companies after a while as they get bloated with too many product and areas
Not just playstation,sony is just way too big
movies
music
television shows
tv hardware
cameras
phones
tablets
music device
media - cd,dvd,blu-ray
gaming consoles and handhelds
medical
network - sony unlimited,psn
at first when a company has cash after being successfull,it starts launching new products and buys other companies but after around 20years of success,it begins its decline.this can be reinvigorated but not at the same pace
Microsoft,google,samsung is also similar at the moment
Apple is a relatively recent succesful company
