It's gonna do well until after Golden Week, them I'm afraid there won't be much to sustain sales for a while.
I think Sony thought about the PS4 launch and planned it quite well for the first few months, better than on other occasions at least. But then the schedule loses a bit of steam:
February: Yakuza
March: MGSV:GZ
April: FFXIV
May: Golden Week
Now it gets tricky. June... Watch Dogs? (I don't know why but Japanese gamers are looking forward to this).
July: ???
August: Psycho Break, I guess.
September-December: Deep Down and... Lily Bergamo? Plus your average CoD, which does well in Japan.
I don't know, I don't see the PS4 sustaining great sales with these games. It's less than one "big" game per month. And by big I mean decent enough to move some units. I sure hope I'm wrong though.
So I'm gonna say it's gonna do over 25k per week until the usual post GW decline, and then it's gonna fall to 15k per week perhaps. Better than WiiU, but not really great.
