The reason I look to forums is because the feedback is direct.  If I just create content, no one's going to take the time to send me a message on YouTube or comment in my videos with useful feedback.  All they'll do is either hit the Like or Dislike button.  Forums provide the exact nature of what I'm looking for: discussion.  That's what they're for.

People give me ideas, they voice their opinions, they share something they normally wouldn't in the comment section of a YouTube video, and it's WHY the show has improved at such an alarming rate from its start: forums.  You like to call it like you "see it", but are jumping to many incorrect conclusions in the act of doing so.  It isn't about advertising, it's about the fact that many people find comfort in their forum of choice, and will voice opinions.  Some are useful, and some are useless (blatantly put, stuff like yours in this thread).

To prove your own point by using you as an example: I have actually noted your idea of putting gameplay somewhere in the background, either projected, or in a corner, and also noted your video about overexposing the background.  You know why you gave me that feedback in that first thread a couple months ago?  Because I posted about my show in this forum.  Would you have ever told me that idea if you found me on YouTube?  Nope.

Your idea stood a fighting chance originally, because the lack of popularity has made the WiiU a bit of a niche console, as such focusing on it gives you an edge you otherwise do not have, expanding into the other consoles puts you in the firing line of other content creators who are, frankly, better equipped and better supported.

And no, I gave you the advice in the original thread because it actually seemed like you had something worthwhile going, be it, roughly, now...  lets just say i'm not going to hold my breath, a lot of others here are thinking the same thing, no doubt, they're just too nice to say anything.

If that was the case, they would have unsubscribed by now.  Sure, YOU don't like it, but so far, until that's the majority opinion, it's not worth me worrying about.  Not everyone will stick around, not everyone will like it, but the last thing ANYONE doing ANYTHING in life should be worrying about is the people telling them to stop doing what they love doing.  I will make the distinction if or when to quit if the signs are clear, not you or your opinion on the matter.

I don't even like the word "haters" (it sounds really juvenile, ya know?), but that is essentially what you're turning into.  You really have no reason to try and rain on my parade, and even if there are a handful of others who feel the same, it seems they have the basic understanding of "if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all".  If you hate my episodes, put a Dislike on it and move on!  If you can't even muster the effort to Dislike a video, then why waste the time being condescending with me?  That's a rhetorical question, I hope you don't try to answer that, lol
