| LiquorandGunFun said: x360 wasnt any kind of failure, and xbo is doing better. Its not like the ps4, but the numbers are not as dire as some make it out to be. It will get better as the price drops, but I think it will be a better turn out if/when the kinect is dropped. its not propelling the system at all at this point, its impairing it. |
It launched better, much much better than the 360. But it has quickly dropped off and is now selling slower than the 360 was.
Xbox One 2014 sales: 459,685 (as of 2/22/14)
360 January + February 2006: 849,155
Now the Xbox One has a week left to go in February, but unless it sells nearly 400,000 units in a week it's going to pretty far behind.
Oh, and before anyone says that it's just because the 360 was available in more markets.
Xbox One 2014 sales (US): 285,709
360 J+F 2006 (US): 391,778
Even in it's home market the Xbox One isn't doing aswell as the 360 did.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
