If someone is in the middle of robbing a bank and they see a pregant woman giving birth and decide to help. Should they not be punished for robbing the bank?
If the girl was sick it one thing but if not then I have no problem with it.
Though I would be for a lesser punishment in both cases, but as I don't know what there school policy is I will asume it wasn't the worst they could do.
