People like to conveniently forget that MS pioneered console hard drives, a sophisticated online network made for consoles, and console indie games. Even little things like online apps and achievements. On the side, the extended universe/lore of Halo and the continued effort they put into it blows away any support Nintendo/Sony have done towards the lore of their own flagship IPs.
As history shows us, Sony staying and winning leads to competition being choked of opportunity. MS winning means competition can still thrive. PS leaving actually would be better for all of us, and frankly doesn't have the stable financials of the parent company compared to Xbox.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
