Agree. Metacritic includes far too many absolutely not respectable reviewers to be reliable, noise overwhelmes the signal. I prefer to consider the reviews of a few sites and magazines that can be respectable or even biased, but in a way that matches my tastes, then to be sure I can wait for word of mouth and search on forums for some confirmations or denials of what reviews say.
