Probably they're eating each other for the same reason US has been doing it for the past 200 years inland and abroad.

I meant that the Africans are lliterally eating each other, and I can only take your comment about the US doing the same thing as figurative, about imperialism perhaps bc Americans sure as hell dont have to be cannibals.  Also, when conditions in many areas of Africa are thst bad, you start to want to generalize a bit.
