Explain the Metacritic Gap Between Tropical Freeze and 3D World

Well... I would say Mario 3d world was better than DKC just in the fun aspect imo just cause it looked better in terms of presentation and almost felt like Mario Galaxy in terms of the levels and gameplay

But probably the reason from what I can tell by reading some of the reviews was that the game was too hard and some deaths felt like trial and error sorta deaths rather than skill based deaths but idk, I didn't think that was the case but many reviewers disagree
