But this is serious. Quick, close your laptops and never open them again. Better yet, don't leave the house, never use your phone and certainly don't send an email.
Build a bunker, move into it and be very, very quiet. |
Or just buy a ps4 :D

and not bundle in that web camera thingy... good idea (for other reasons though)
But you will still have an internet connection, laptop, mobile phone, email account, postal address, job and a body to walk around in. All of which can be monitored, surveiled and checked on a minute by minute basis at will. Kinect is merely another in the vast and enless list of ways you could be monitored. Not having Kinect doesnt make you invisible you know. "I dont want those bastards monitoring me.... I wont buy Kinect" is so ridiculous in the context of our lives and how we can be "followed".
No... Kinect is small fry in the grand scheme of things, assuming any of this actually bother you.

haha true.
But yeah, no, I agree with you. If you have a webcam, I'm not sure why you're concerned with privacy in the first place...there are cameras everywhere now. It sucks, but well....that's the new world for you, and it's not going to change. Just embrace it for the good things it can allow. We'll deal with the rights violations when appropriate.

Why does it suck? What on earth are people doing with their lives that they're so afraid to have caught on camera? I will never understand it.
