You obviously know a lot more than I do about coding and whatnot, but the ryse thing is just that it's a launch title. Launch titles always stink(compared to 2nd gen releases). Just look at a game like thief, runs horribly on ps4, doesn't look that great, but that has nothing to do with the power of the system, but the poor code.  Not saying the x1 will suddenly start having 1080p titles, but frame dips, and things like that are usually due to poor coding, or lack of time(launch titles). More ram on ps4 wouldn't have made thief run better either, right?

Has there been any analysis made on Thief, on both platforms? Honestly, other than that one site nobody seem to have noticed it ran better or worse on either console, just that one guy who honestly sounded more like a delusional fan boy than anything (I rarely use that word, but this case is pretty low). I mean, even sites that normally lean heavily on the MS side like Polygon did not bring up any difference, while the same site tried to say near 60fps on Tomb Raider, that can take a dip from time to time, was worse than the never fluid 30fps version.

I'm not saying there are no dips, I just doubt that they are only on the PS4... and it would be that one stray example, going against every other multi platform titles, assuming that the ps4 was somehow the only one with the drops I strongly doubt it would be a trend for future titles.
