 well..for the sake of the argument - "winning" is selling more consoles than the competitors

That's actually a very good question. What is "winning"?

If I was to define it, I would say the company that turns the most profit, as that's what they are doing all this for anyway.

Winner there: Nintendo. Everyone else will be far behind them.
