Really because sales of PS3 first 5 month showed us the end result really well. What a leap of faith. The first year won't decide the end of the gen. Let alone the first few months. If that was the case, Ps3 wouldn't have hit 50 million consoles sold.

But Playstation and Xbox simply aren't comparable in this regard. Europe and Japan are already lost for One. Nobody can deny that. There simply isn't a way for them to outclass PS4 in sales WW. Only thing they can hope for is improving their sales and at best, retaking US with a small lead (although I do not expect that).

What the guy above probably means is that the positions have already been decided. Sales for X1 can easily be improved though.


Precisely.  I am not saying that we can perfectly predict the outcome based on March's data (Why would I be?!).  But, March will tell us how much the PS4 will probably end up winning by unless MS makes BIG changes.
