Really because sales of PS3 first 5 month showed us the end result really well. What a leap of faith. The first year won't decide the end of the gen. Let alone the first few months. If that was the case, Ps3 wouldn't have hit 50 million consoles sold.

Did I say that I think the first 5 months of last gen told us everything? No. But this gen is different. They came out at the same time trying to fill the same role.
If the Xbox One cannot outsell the PS4 in its home territory when MS is litterally giving its biggest exclusive away for FREE, then yeah I think it's over. At best the Xbox One will sell half that of the PS4 IF that happens. It would show that the X1 needs a complete relaunch, massive price drop, and dozens more exclusives.
