Actually that isn't really correct. I mean, the prices of the dollar and conversion and all that is correct, but the reasoning is wrong.
Even when Canada carried a dollar that was worth more than that of the US prices were still more. It also doesn't have anything to do with extra taxation or transport. The reason that this happens is because they can do it and it's what people are used to.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
