I can't help but feel that the AAA bubble is becoming too large for it's own good. Everybody is so concerned with getting the next Call of Duty or the next Halo, they're not realizing that the margins for profits are getting smaller, and that they're spending more than is feasible on AAA games. Just one failed project can lead to the shut down of an entire company or studio. Hopefully the indies can step in and save this industry, we need them too.

I got to agree, not only that but devs themselves are aimming for too much, games get bigger and bigger, the next GTA will come out and Rockstar will anounce "a world 7x bigger than GTA5" and you have this infinite city to explore, seriously thats not needed, we just want fun games, GTA 1 city was like 1/10 of GTA5s and the game was arguably much better, look how simple Mario 3d World is  (when compared to other AAAs) and yet its awesome. Theres no need to go insanely overboard realy, keep it grounded and dont go bankrupt is what I have to say.
