I would say Sony just above Nintendo, as they are the only ones who I trust to continue making exclusives and new IPs for the entire generation.

You do realize that Nintendo makes a shitload of new IP every gen?
People just dont know so they dont buy and Nintendo is not the "i have to generate hype" type of company.

Examples?  The only 'new' exclusive IP on Wii U so far that I can think of is Lego City Undercover and Wonderful 101, neither which are made by Nintendo, which makes them second party.  There are no Wii U exclusives that are new IPs coming up that I can think of.  If you are talking about last generation on Wii, then it had stuff like Wii Fit and Wii Sports but not much else first party that was new.  And like i said in my original comment, they were both early in Wii's life, and then the new IP stopped.

W101 is owned by Nintendo If you disagree that this is Nintendo IP then you have to remove every second playstation game from the "owned by Sony" list. Because most series began when the devs were independent (sony was on a desperate buying spree to have at least some exclusives a few years ago)
I mean e.g InFamous was made 2009 by an independent studio.
Same applies to little big planet (made by media molecule an independant studio in 2008)
Or Killzone (made by independent guerilla games in 2004
(It does not matter if the dev is 2nd party or not when the IP is owned by Nintendo then Nintendo can easily replace the 2nd party dev and still make the game. I mean when third party will vanish and only first part will be left, then there would be enough devs out there nintendo could buy so)

Well here a small list of Nintendo IP that came out after the start of the DS/Wii generation in 2005

DIRECTLY! out of my head
(alot of games are missing since its just to many to remember)

Another Code.
Disaster
Pandoras Tower
Last Story (made by mistwalker and Nintendo so belongs to Nintendo)
Xenoblade (this series alone makes the answer to the thread question a no brainer)
Soma Bringer
Magical Starsign/Vacation
Dillon's Rolling Western
Sakura Samurai
Nintendoland (its as new an IP as smash was or as psasbr was. It is based on other games but is actually a game on its own)
Pusmo/crashmo/pullbox etc. series
Sengeki no reginleiv
Denpamen series (dev belongs to the pokemon company they also made games like Pokemon Colloseum, Pkmn  xD Gale of Darkness  Pkmn Trozei etc.)
Game&Wario
Shin Megami Tensei X Fireemblem (not yet released)
Hyrule Warrios (n.y.r)
Elite Beat Agents
Steel Diver
Rythm Heaven
Endless Ocean
Legendary Starfy
Excitetrucks/bots* (*has the same name as Excitebike is a completely different type of game)
HarmoKnight
DrillDozer
Electroplakton
Big Brain Academy
Wii Party/Sports/Play/Music (actually installment is its own IP like MarioVSMarioKart but i just name it as 1 because I am nice)

all of this are 3DS/DS/Wii and WiiU games  I completely made up and all of that was on GBA and Gamecube right? (or even prior to that)

So Nintendo does make alot of new IP they just dont tell you.
(Which is stupid IMHO they should label all their games"NINTENDO PRESENTS  Metroid Prime" or whatever so people automatcally know what game is a Nintendo IP.)

P.S.
FUN FACT
Nintendo owns ~33% of Pokemon
GameFreak owns ~33% of Pokemon
Creatures owns ~33% or so of Pokemon
The animation studio or whatever (that makes the animes and movies owns ~2% of Pokemon)
But since Nintendo owns at least 51% of GameFreak and 51% of Creatures they automatically own ~66% of Pokemon.
