Do you pity the Wii U?

I hate saying it, but pity was a motivating factor for me to buy it.

Once SM3DW launched, I said to myself - "This console finally has enough games I'd like to not make it a complete waste of money".

I saved up for months when I was a kid to buy an N64, then later a GameBoy Advance. Nintendo was part of my childhood. I want the company to sustain itself into the future so my kids might someday have the same kinds of awesome adventures with Link, Mario, Star Fox and the gang. I skipped the GameCube, DS, Wii, and 3DS -- so I felt the need to make penance for my more recent neglect of Nintendo by getting the Wii U.

I've since enjoyed the console far more than I thought I would.
