Got it day one, but I finally started playing Ys Memories of Celceta last night..
I was actually a bit worried when watching the opening cutscene though. Very juddery with what looks like locked 15fps, animations were horrible, etc. That doesn't get better. However the gameplay actually plays very fluid and doesn't feel like there are any noticeable framedrops whenever you're controlling the characters. It still looks juddery like it's running at a locked 15fps with no slow down, but it doesn't seem to effect your actions or timed guards/evades. The juddery look is far less noticeable outside of town because it's a somewhat overhead view. Even though this game runs at a skipped framerate it's really not bothersome.
I got the silver anniversary edition and looked through the artbook that came with it and it's like a strategy guide/artbook in one. Lots of charts and such so seems like a detailed started guide. If you haven't got it but were interested, it's one special edition I'd say is worth getting. It also comes with a three disc soundtrack of music from the older games, cloth map, and a compass which I'll never use.
