That's a question I think a lot about. 20 years ago games costed even more than now, not including inflation and so on. At that time they got away with it though, since there were no 1 dollar mobile phone games.

No, I don't. Just look at how games sell after the price has been cut. I think the core fans are going to buy their games regardless of the price. I don't think launching games at half the price would double sales. In fact, I think developers would end up worse off with that strategy.
