| Jizz_Beard_thePirate said: I am not saying TitanFall is a bad game by any means, I was playing the beta every chance I get and its the most fun I have had with a first person shooter in a while, but all I am saying is TitanFall is still a multiplayer experience at its heart, you cannot have fun with only one person even on the multiplayer campeign (least from what I can tell) so it is still technically a multiplayer experience, just like how Destiny will be as well but many people don't like that... In the eyes for a lot of people (maybe not in this site but on a few other sites), a fps game that is $60 has to have at least a single player offline campaign in order to justify the purchase and carrying the game on multiplayer alone and that an arcade style fps with mechs is not worth $60 since you can get a game like Hawken for only $10-$20 which also has mechs (its an example, I know they arent 100% same type of game) but for many TitanFall is enough so on that baises alone, I think dkc are also worth $60 to many people, cause the wealth of content, secrets, time trailers and etc that the single player offers is enough for people TL:DR I think TitanFall is great for $60 but so is DKC in their own ways is all I am trying to say |
In the end it's how much people are willing to pay.
But, people that think Titanfall won't sell solely on the basis that it doesn't have single player mode, should check COD sales.
COD sells basically on their multiplayer experiences, you don't hear anybody talking about COD campaign or BF.
