From what I gather, many shops are selling out of hardware, but software sales are a bit lower than expected. After asking some customers why they don't buy a game, the answer is usually along the lines of Knack being included, Playroom, PS3->PS4 software upgrade, and other digital excuses items. FF14 beta is especially popular.
Also the general response to Knack seems to be positive, although that might just be because it's free!
