Has there ever been a fighter with that many characters at once? Fighters with more than 2 are rare enough. 8 would be awesome, though I don't think I'd use it all the time. I think it would be interesting to use as a bonus mode now and then. 3 v 3 and 4 v 4 teams would add new layers of depth to the strategies. It'd be pretty epic. Very unlikely, but epic. Would probably be very laggy though, especially on 3DS.

it should be exclusive to SSB for WiiU! Also in SSBB, though it was CPU, if your member endless mode (single player) where cpu controls polygons, they had a total of 6 on the field (if you played co op!

Well I remember that, I'm just saying, it's already something unique to Smash! I wish more fighting games would have more than two players per match. The only other one I can think of off the top of my head are the Naruto games. I don't see why it doesn't happen more often. To have 6 human controlled characters, though, that'd be a first, wouldn't it? It'd be a next gen experience, if you ask me, something that would push the Wii U to it's limits, having that many complex characters with unique movesets in such a fast paced game requiring such precision. There's a reason it hasn't been done before except with very simple characters like the polygons. I'm already imagining all the support strategies you could do with that many characters on a team. If Nintendo could pull it off, I bet it'd be pretty popular. There'd be 3 man and 4 man team tournaments, the first of their kind. Like I think the closest thing would be games like LoL.
