I concur.
I own every single halo game on every single platform it's ever been released on.
To me it feels like the Multiplayer has been "Codified" removing some of it's more strategic elements. (Like power-up pickups in strategic locations that are worth defending. - I.E. Halo 3 vs Halo 4.)
The story has also somewhat become a little convoluted.
However, I still look forward to each iteration and it is going to be the primary reason for myself to go grab an Xbox One, they are certainly not "bad" games, but the anticipation that I had compared to the older titles has started to wane.
Still, I would be more than happy to pass over the Xbox One if it wasn't for Halo and Fable franchises, but Microsoft doesn't give me the option of playing those games on the PC unfortunatly.
