I think the Halo series lost a lot of steam in the last few iterations. That's not to say they're bad games. They're just not as "must have" as it seemed at first. No way will such an old and tired franchise pull the X1 out of its death spiral. It's going to take something a lot more exciting and interesting and, honestly, I don't see any X1 exclusives in the near future that scream "killer app" to me. And frankly, all the attention Titanfall is getting seems a little contrived.
