Basically, If Sony shipped 600-700k or even more, it's very difficult to sell everything in 24-48h. In my opinion, if PSV sold 320k and WiiU 300k 1st week, i don't believe at all PS4 is going to sell less. So what's is happening is PS4 has already sold beyond that numbers, probably around 400-500k and there's still around 200-300k more to sell for the rest of the week, explaining why you can easily find PS4 48h after launch.

Not meeting demand in a country where there is no competition is a very good sign. But yes, you're right in that I think it's important to note that not selling out isn't necessarily a problem. They can still be successful without having overwhelming demand.
