Just buy every game that exists on Wii U (including the bad ones) and that should keep you busy for a while...if you don't kill yourself while playing Barbie Dreamhouse Party.

On a more serious note, I think a $800 PC should be enough to start with, you don't need a super mega ultra super PC from the get go. A $800 PC should be enough to be able to play most games on high settings...however, if max settings is a big deal for you, then $800 won't be enough.

I think $800 is the max I would pay for it to be honest. If it's enough to play with high settings most next gen games then I'm good!

Well it heavily depends on how big of a jump developers are willing to take. I mean Titanfall for example has some very low recommended requirements, so a $800 PC should be able to play that game even on max settings. However a $800 PC will have some problems with The Witcher 3 on max settings or even high, although that game looks so good that even medium settings would be better than Titanfall max settings.

Keep in mind that games like The Witcher 3 are exceptions (they were last gen at least), not all games require a godlike PC to be able to play on max settings.
