the mere fact that they beat their FY projection 2 months early (and without the japan launch) just highlights how much more ps4 is selling than sony's expectations. logistics are a bitch but they'll get it sorted out eventually.

It's going be rather unusual if the manage to hit 7 million by March 31st (which is within the realm of possibility). That would exceed the intital projection by a massive 40%. Crazy stuff.

yeah, increadibly crazy that 7M is even a possibility. ..but with japan launching today if the west has a "typical" week ps4 will likely be ~6M at the end of next weeks numbers. ...and that leaves 1 month + 1 week to sell another million. 1M / 5 weeks is 200k a week which is totally possible after the japan launch adds another 30k+ to the current weekly numbers. throw in on extra 100-200k ps4 to VGCz numbers that will likely be included in sony's financials that have been shipped to retailers but still "in route".
damn, it's all up to whether or not sony makes 7M to have a jaw droppingly high LTD at the end of the FY.. so crazy.
