Same, it is incredibly jarring. Is it the norm in Japan to play such sound effects during exciting announcements? It is obviously not meant to be believable/realistic, of that much I am sure.

If you watch Japanese Wrestling the crowd sound the same for everything. Its just a Japanese thing i think.
