New here, what's up everyone. So, what I'm wondering is, do people really expect Titanfall to be such a huge game changer? I just don't see it, why are people expecting one game alone to triple US sales when huge exclusives in the past haven't been able to do that? I see the X1 doing maybe 100k the week of Titanfall, then dropping a bit in the second week before going down again to the levels we've seen these past few weeks. Unless I'm missing something here?

Sony also has inFamous in March, and while that may not be as big as Titanfall it should still provide a boost (not that the PS4 really needs it). Now, if it was Titanfall + $100 price cut, I'd agree with the big expectations, but as it stands? I don't see it. I think the X1 will be dropping to around Wii U levels, probably a bit higher since it won't totally die in NA. Only thing that has a legitimate chance at turning things around, in my opinion, is a very good price cut and some massive marketing campaign.
