Mcain already said that the U.S.A should send troops to Venezuela. Obama hasn't said anything as far as I know.

There is A LOT of oil...and I mean A LOT...there's no secret or rumors here, so U.S sending troops isn't that hard to imagine, and heck that's fine by me, for every Venezuelan soldier the U.S army kills, I will give them a glass full of oil.

How well has that turned out for Iraq?

How many non-military Iraqis were killed by US in that war?

Don't ask for this. Opposite of what US PR always says in regards to our standing firm for freedom/democracy etc... its all bullshit. We join wars for our own benefit and dominance.

Libya we bombed due to the rest of the world taking action and we didnt' want to seem like we were not world's superpower. In the end its still shit for the people.

Iraq we attacked because of oil and better control of region in fear of an rising Iran. Its all resource and military related.

Syria we ignored and won't do anything because they are not a threat to us or a strategic value of any size.

Venezuela we might due to it being in the Western hemisphere where we allow no other nation any control and they have a lot of oil. But while it may seem good... it will end up with our damn troops stuck there for way too long, some other asshole gaining control, and hundreds of thousands if not millions of civilians killed.

Maybe you are right...the desperation of getting out of that piece of shit is so strong that we usually don't think throw the situation.
