Depends on how you define hardcode. DKC is infinitely harder to beat than any Zelda game.

I don't mean by difficulty but rather I mean by appeal. Before super mario bros became easy it used to also be hard and popular at the same time.

By why do you reckon it's not aimed at hardcode Nintendo fans?
