As for the context it definitely was necessary as both me and Arnold responded without the context. We might have replied completely differently with the context.
And yes i still do believe that Kinect is a "peripheral" in that sense, however i dont think MS should not bundle it and massively support and push it. Like you said not everything is black and white or something like that.

the OP stands on it's own, regardless of any article that it may be in response to.
You both took exception to the fact that I don't believe the Kinect to be a peripheral.. that wouldn't have changed.
