The Vita is sadder in the sense in that's it's the better product, and unlike the Wii U, actually deserved success.

But otherwise the failure of the Vita hasn't seemed to affect the image of Sony much overall for some reason and is supposedly perfectly profitable. On the other hand, Nintendo has been bleeding money and getting doomsday articles left and right solely because of the Wii U, even though what people SHOULD be focusing on is its declining handheld sector (considering their home console sector has always been a gamble while their handheld sector has always been a success, the lifeblood carrying them effortlessly through any other trouble).
