Hard to say, one is a console that has garnered little third party support while slowly developing respectable first party support. The other is a hand held that has little first party support while slowly garnering third party support.

I would say neither deserved to flourish, but it looks like both will be the primary victims of the contraction I expected in their respective markets. I would say in the long run Wii U will likely be replaced as Nintendo try to find the next thing to hook people like the Wii while the Vita will likely be Sony's last handheld and could see a 10 year cycle by the end making it look much better in hindsight. By a tiny margin I vote Vita.
