Then get Dark Souls 2 for PC for now, and wait a year or two for a cheap Holiday sale. PS3 will come down in price before they discontinue it.

I'm leaning towards the opposite.  Fixing my ps3 and playing it as long as I can, then getting it on pc down the road.
