My #1 reason for not getting XBO and not planning on getting XBO is the forced inclusion of Kinect which I already know from 7th gen, I don't care for.
I feel the same way about the Gamepad that comes with the Wii U. Only Nintendo Land, ZombiU, Game & Wario, and Art Academy use it in an essential way.
Beyond that it is more useful than Kinect in that it allows off-tv play for every game, but certainly not essential. It is also very good for Miiverse, but again not essential to gaming. If Nintendo can make it an Accessory, then maybe the Wii U can be $200 and the Gamepad with some game $100 to match the current Wii U pricing. I bet the Wii U would sell a lot more at $200 with a Pro Controller, then it does for $300 with the Gamepad.
