I wonder if the age of the gamer has anything to do with the fact that they like WW, the first bunch of people in this thread are very young from what i can remember, and may not have been of gaming age back in the old Zelda days.

Because everyone i know hated Zelda WW, these would be people from the age of 20-25.

I'm nearly 40, and i agree 100% with Soriku's OP, so... it has nothing to do with age, it's just a matter of taste...

But it's maybe true younger gamers have no shame tellin' they like cartoony graphics, while the 20-25 want to prove they're "real" men with "better", "grown-up" tastes...

That kind of behavior disappears the day you have kids, and you find yourself watching Disney or Pixar classics with them, or playin WW or Galaxy with them... the wonder in their eyes and the fun they have are just so great to see...

But for people like me, who have always been animation fans and Zelda fans too, WW cel shaded world >>> any FPS "realistic" world...

The part about the age was not a jab or anything like that, i just want to make that clear with everyone.  Being 20-25 and not not liking WW is not trying to be cool or anything, or saying are tastes are grown up.  Its just that the people of specific age group grew up playing different games, then say a 13-18 yearold.  And how this may effect the games they like more then others,  the people i knew loved the older Zelda's since the day they came out, and WW was a big let down for all of them.

I also have no problem watching kids shows, as i have young step sisters.  But they like GTA and violent games.
